Traditional Kensington Masterclass Kitchen in Willow
Mayfield
This kitchen uses the Kensington range from our trusted partner, Masterclass, painted in Willow. Panelled doors, nickel knobs and a cornice along the wall and units give it a crafted, timeless finish. Behind the painted fronts, the cabinetry is made entirely from Portland Oak for lasting strength, and the same natural finish carries through to the open shelving with built-in lighting, complementing the beams overhead.
The standout feature is the walk-in corner larder, a design that’s unique Masterclass. It turns a hard-to-use corner into a lit pantry you can step into, and a spice rack on the back of the door keeps everyday jars at eye level. Next to it, a tall open shelving unit wraps around the end of the run, giving the homeowners space to display glassware and ceramics.
In the island, a wine drawer unit holds bottles flat so every label can be seen at a glance. A single reeded glass wall unit brings contrast and texture to the run of solid painted doors, and its fluted glass catches the light from the shelves beside it. The 30mm quartz worktop in Carrara Zero Silica continues up the wall as a splashback behind the sink. Its pale, softly veined surface reflects light around the room and gives the Willow cabinetry a crisp backdrop.

Detailing & Style
The NEFF downdraft hob sits flush with the quartz, which keeps the island clean-lined. Because there’s no overhead extractor, the beams and pendants stay the focus. In the tall run, NEFF ovens at eye level have a dark glass finish that gives a sleek contrast to the Willow cabinetry. A NEFF dishwasher completes the line-up.
The Caple wine cooler has the same dark glass finish and sits beside the wine drawers, so chilled bottles are always to hand. A Liebherr fridge takes care of everyday cold storage.
At the sink, a Zenduo 1.5 bowl from The 1810 Company in brushed brass adds a warm metallic accent, and the half bowl is handy for rinsing and prep. A Quooker tap provides instant boiling water and frees up worktop space, as there’s no need for a kettle.
