When it comes to kitchen design, the most effective way to have access to boiling water is on tap. With many industry veterans developing their own ‘boiling water taps’ the forefront of this technology is defined by Quooker.
Offering the practicality of a mixer tap, the Quooker Fusion also offers boiling water, and an option for cold filtered water. The Quooker Flex takes it one step further, incorporating a pull out hose with a safety feature that prevents boiling water from being expelled when the hose is pulled out.
The standard tank for the boiling water is 3 litres and occupies a modest space below the kitchen sink. In hard water areas, a scale control tank is also recommended, which is almost identical in size to the hot water tank, and even together, these units are much more discreet than their competitors’ equivalents.
More energy efficient - and therefore cost effective - than a kettle, and without the waiting time, it’s no wonder these taps are becoming more prolific in kitchen design. Head to our Heathfield showroom today for a demonstration.
