I would like to thank, in particular, Nigel for his patience and expertise in brining our plans to life, Dave (the fitter) who is a true craftsman and very skilled. Dave was ably assisted by Dave (the electrician) who did an excellent job with our lighting plan etc. I would like to mention the very professional work done by the granite fitters and the hand-painter (Mark) whose efforts really brought the kitchen to life. Thanks also to Phil for overseeing everything so smoothly, Sue in the studio and Mel and Simon who delivered everything and cleared away so tidily.
This was, by far, the largest and most expensive project we have undertaken and we are relieved and grateful that it turned out exactly as we hoped. Dave (the fitter) was brilliant and made it all happen. I have never seen walls and a ceiling plastered so smoothly in my life, billiard table smooth, thanks to Stuart, Duncan and Mark. It made Mick's job of paiting and decorating easier, he is a perfectionist too. Neil, who did the tiling was exemplary in his work too. My wife and I spent a small fortune wanting the best, so when Jim and Don finally placed those wonderful Silestone worktops in place (the templates were very accurate) then we knew our decision to give HKS the contract to replace our kitchen was a judgement we are pleased with.
